Oliver A. McClellan, PhD

I am an Early Career Postdoctoral Fellow in Political Science at Columbia University. My research focuses on American political behavior and public opinion, with particular attention to attitude formation and voting behavior. I use causal inference and experimental methodology, as well as survey design and implementation, to study the intersection of political parties, the media, elections, and public opinion. My current primary research project examines the roles played by political leaders and parties in shaping their supporters’ political beliefs. My CV can be found here.
